(a) you when you use the Honda Connect app or connected services, or drive a vehicle with activated connected services;
(b) your authorised representatives, including the owner of the vehicle you drive when using the connected services; and
(c) Honda Centres when you give them your personal information, including when you ask them to help you sign up to the connected services or enquire about the Honda Connect app or connected services.
The Honda Connect App and Honda’s Connected Services may include several different functions depending on your car model and plan. If you have any questions on how your specific vehicle collects personal information, you can contact Customer Assistance or any Honda Centre.
If the collection is required or authorised by law
There may be circumstances where we are required to disclose your personal information in order to cooperate with an investigation by law enforcement or to respond to a voluntary or mandatory request for information from law enforcement, including in accordance with the Telecommunications Act 1997 (Cth) and Telecommunications (Interception and Access Act 1979 (Cth)) and other related telecommunication laws.

If we do not collect any personal information requested, you may not be able to use the Honda Connect app, the connected services or all of their features. For example, it is optional to set your home address in the Honda Connect app but, if you do not do so, you will need to manually verify your vehicle ownership when prompted.
