Chairman of The Honda Foundation, Mr. Stephen Collins recently met the team from South Port Day Links to hear first-hand how the Odyssey has made a difference for them. “The team at South Port Day Links look after some of our community’s most valuable people, so it’s great knowing that the Honda Odyssey is helping make their work a little easier.

A part of the community for over 28 years, South Port Day Links’ team of 75 volunteers includes 35 drivers, some who are themselves disabled.

General Manager of South Port Day links, Mr. Robert Menzies said the new Honda Odyssey has been a driving revolution for the team.  “The Odyssey provides ease of access to our community transport clients, who are older, frail, aged residents and delivers excellent drivability and safety for our volunteer drivers.

“The Honda Foundation has made a real difference to improving the quality of our services to the community. Our sincere thanks to The Honda Foundation and Brighton Honda for their generous support,” Mr. Menzies said.

The Honda Foundation aims to provide assistance to local communities and foster goodwill among Honda Australia, Honda Motor Vehicle Dealers and the public. It draws funding from Honda Dealers and Honda Australia.

The Honda Foundation’s ‘Honda Heroes’ loan vehicle program supports charitable organisations through a fleet of loan vehicles, assisting with activities for the disadvantaged, disabled or those suffering from illness.
