The Honda Odyssey has continued its domination of the people-mover segment, with its August sales result keeping it at number one in private sales.

“The Odyssey is one of Honda’s most awarded models and continues to be an Australian favourite,” said Honda Australia Director, Mr. Stephen Collins. “It has now been the number one-seller in the private part of the people-mover segment for the whole of 2015. We are confident  Australia will continue to love the Honda Odyssey.”

In August, the Odyssey sold a total of 228 units, taking its annual total to 1,925.

Looking just at the private part of the people-mover segment, the Odyssey sits at number one with 45.6 percent market share (YTD).

The Honda Odyssey is available with both an eight (VTi) and seven seat (VTi-L) configuration which is both practical and flexible.

It is also packed with features, such as Honda’s ECON Mode and Eco Assist, Vehicle Stability Assist, Tyre Deflation Warning System, six airbags (including third row), Idle Stop, Daytime Running Lights, halogen headlights with auto on/off and cruise control with steering wheel mounted buttons.

The VTi-L gains a multi-view camera with Smart Park Assist, Blind Spot Information System, Cross-Traffic Monitor and built-in satellite navigation. Another highlight is the second row Captain’s Chairs with arm rests and ottoman. All seven seats are finished in leather trim and the front seats have heating.
