The Role

 

We are looking to hire a District Aftersales Manager to join our team in NSW to provide support to Honda dealers, assisting them in developing and promoting both their Service and Parts business. Working in partnership with an assigned group of Honda dealers within an allocated territory, your role will be to:

  • Monitor, analyse and support allocated dealers in all aspects of Honda service and parts sales with a strong focus on achieving set targets including dealer profitability
  • Develop and implement service and parts marketing strategies and plans
  • Review, monitor and motivate dealers to achieve a high level of customer satisfaction and retention
  • Benchmark dealership performance against industry standards and key Honda performance indicators
  • Ensure a high level of dealer 'Fix Right First Time' is achieved and maintained
  • Supply timely market information and reporting to regional and national offices

 

Ideally you will have:

  • Proven success in a customer facing, wholesale to retail environment with an understanding and interest in the automotive industry
  • Mechanical aptitude and an understanding of the parts business
  • Proven account management experience and motivation to succeed
  • Well developed communication, negotiation, presentation, influencing and customer relationship skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • High proficiency in MS Office and Excel in particular
  • Ability to travel domestically

Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, this is a hands-on sales management role with a focus on building strong relationships and maximizing profitability and vehicle sales within the Honda dealer network. Working in partnership with allocated Honda Dealers, responsibilities will include:

  • End to end ownership of district sales and performance
  • Supporting dealers in their achievement of maximum sales potential
  • Developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies and plans
  • Analyzing, forecasting, identifying and reporting on sales activities
  • Formulating value-add propositions, and rolling out of dealer programs, initiatives and training
  • Promoting excellence in customer satisfaction
  • Supplying timely market information to state and national offices

The successful candidate will have:

  • Proven success in a customer facing, wholesale to retail environment with an understanding of the automotive industry

  • High proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to travel domestically
