About the Role

An exciting Melbourne based opportunity is currently available with Honda Australia, for an analytical minded Sales Planner to support the Sales Planning department in sales and stock management, sales forecasting, sales campaign and budget management.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Submitting monthly production orders to factories in line with monthly schedule and procedures
  • Assisting in the maintenance of stock and sales information in spreadsheets and databases
  • Maintaining department workbook functions including excel/database links, formulae and macros
  • Assist Sales Planners in developing sales and stock management plans; and work in conjunction with Product Planning and the Dealer Business Divisions
  • Provide status of dealer stock allocation uptake on a monthly basis
  • Assist in the coordination of product launch activities in conjunction with product planners, dealer business and other departments as required

About the Role

Reporting to the Financial Controller, this is a hands-on role responsible for ensuring all of Honda Australia’s internal and external requirements for financial reporting are delivered efficiently and effectively. Key Responsibilities

  • Leading the review of the allocated monthly departmental profit and loss reports to ensure completeness, accuracy and timeliness of financial information.

Reporting to the Accessory Development & Sales Manager, this is a hands-on role responsible for the future planning, sourcing, pricing, development and delivery to market and through life management of Honda Accessory Products.   • Manage future model accessories strategy & planning with significant input into (and the ability to negotiate internally within) the product lifecycle planning processes to ensure that future accessories strategy is completely aligned to new model strategy (Product Planning to Aftersales Product) 

Aftersales Product Development & Delivery to Market (New Model Accessory Sourcing & Development) 

  • Completely manage the flawless delivery of all new model accessories including sourcing, supplier negotiation, product pricing, product development and project management to SED/SP and internal launch timelines 

Through Life Product Management 

  • Manage all current accessories products including on-going quality control, pricing revision, product profitability, product obsolescence and dealer communications (i.e. product lists/guides) including liaison with internal stakeholders for parts master data management 

Legal Requirements 

  • Ensure the proper use of Honda Legal resources to ensure proper strategy formulation with particular reference to supplier sourcing & negotiation 

Contractual 

  • Responsible for the negotiation and contract development of supplier contracts for new model accessories 

Relationship Management 

  • Establishes and maintains professional management of internal and external stakeholder relationships (Honda Motor Co., Asian Honda, and industry groups). Internally, actively works cross functionally and encourages liaison between all SP Divisions

About the Role

Reporting to the General Manager Aftersales, this is a hands-on role responsible for the procurement of goods and services in the Aftersales division. The role will act as a lead for the company in sourcing, evaluating Parts, Accessories, Aftersales Programs (Tyres, Batteries, Oils and others) vendor submissions. They will also ensure all approvals, bid requirements and sourcing decisions are consistent with company policy and procedures and objective selection criteria. The role will implement sourcing and commodity strategies where applicable and actively seek early involvement from key stake holders in sourcing decisions. 

 

Key Responsibilities

Analyse Spend and Forecast

  • Perform analyses (supplier assessments, financial/market analyses) in support of sourcing strategy development. 

Define Sourcing Strategies

  • Define sourcing strategies aligned to Aftersales and corporate objectives. 
  • Influence stakeholders to support the creation of RFQs and commit the required resources. 

Conduct RFQ’s/RFI’s 

  • Draft requests for competitive bids & conduct bidding process. 
  • Evaluate results & make sourcing decisions based on specifications, quality, cost and supply through competitive bidding processes. 

Lead Supplier Selection and Bid List Qualification

  • Align sourcing decisions to strategic supplier base and Honda QCDMS evaluations. 

Negotiate POs/Contracts

  • Deploy contract strategies and best-in-class, knowledge-based negotiation strategies. 

Implement Contracts

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and legal department to implement compliant agreements. 

Manage POs/Contracts

  • Track supplier performance against contractual commitments.

Reporting to the Technical Assistant Manager, this is a hands-on role responsible for providing the highest level of technical expertise and technical customer service support, especially in vehicle diagnosis, repair methods and technical communications with Honda Australia between the Honda dealer network and Honda Motor Company so that effective resolution of dealer queries is completed. 

 

Key Responsibilities

Produce technical service publications

  • To prepare HTI’s, Technical Service Bulletins and Service News in line with the information provided by Honda Motor Company to assist the Honda dealer service staff with specific vehicle repairs.

Provide technical advice

  • Handling technical support desk technical issues from dealers and advise the appropriate vehicle repair methods in accordance with Honda Motor Company guidelines allowing for the resolution of difficult vehicle repairs. 

Recording technical support information 

  • Recording technical support desk contacts from dealers and associated repair advice/recommendations within Honda Salesforce System to allow for the resolution and logging of vehicle repairs via Tech Support line / Salesforce. 

Technical report writing

  • To process PQR’s, investigate, prepare and issue a range of different service reports (including QIC’s) within the customer services department to Asian Honda and associated factories to provide quick action and effective, accurate communications to dealers. 

Investigate technical concerns

  • Conduct technical investigations for problem vehicles as requested. This may require dealer visits and/or some practical work on vehicles and coordinating with Technical Assistant Manager / Dealer as requested so that problems can be resolved quickly and efficiently. 

Projects as required

  • Oversee or participate in special projects as required from time to time within Honda Australia to ensure departmental objectives are achieved.

About the Role

Reporting to the Legal, Risk and Compliance Manager, this is a hands-on role responsible for engaging internal stakeholders to promote and embed the risk and compliance framework across the business.  

 

Key Responsibilities

Corporate Governance

  • Preparing responses to requests from Honda Motor and regional office in Thailand.
  • Assisting to maintain the HCG Framework. 
  • Compiling and distributing corporate governance meeting materials, attend meetings and taking minutes. 
  • Maintaining requisite corporate governance documentation to meet local and global requirements.
  • Preparation of corporate governance education packs for senior management and Board. 
  • Drafting HCG policies and procedures, in line with Honda Motor’s global requirements and local laws and regulations (practise policy, electronic conferencing policy, Whitsleblower policy etc). 
  • Attend and take minutes at committees relevant to HCG including confidentiality committee, HCG sub-committee and Issue Response Team. 


Risk Management and Legal

  • Assist in the management of the organisations risk control framework, supporting a culture of continuous improvements. 
  • Assist to achieve compliance to the Risk Management Plan including risk identification, measurement, monitoring, assessment and control. 
  • Assist with the provision of senior management reporting on risk management related matters. 
  • Develop and assist to deliver enterprise risk management training and education programs to promote risk management knowledge. 
  • Identify and report on key risk indicators and emerging risks relevant to the business and the industry. 
  • Continuously seek opportunities to enhance the risk management framework and procedures. 
  • Maintain various AUH registers. 
  • Maintain the Personal Property Securities Register (PPSR). 
  • Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures.

 

About you

The successful candidate will have:

  • Knowledge and experience in risk management, compliance (3 - 5 years’ experience). 
  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Risk Management or Legal. 
  • An ability to apply a commercial lens to ensure Honda Australia make great decisions using risk management as an enabler that builds value across the business. 
  • Demonstrated analytical skills with an ability to collaborate with external stakeholders and document business processes and findings. 
  • A history of creating and enhancing effective working relationships with the ability to work across all levels of the business. 
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Advanced MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint. 
  • Experience working within automobile industry is preferable but not essential.
