About the Role

 

Reporting to the Compliance, Risk & Tax Manager, this is a hands-on role responsible for supporting Honda’s corporate governance and tax compliance activities.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with Corporate Governance annual review activities including reviewing of policies and other key controls as they relate to the business
  • Assist with strengthening corporate governance activities including familiarisation activities and maintenance of policy register for the business
  • Preparation of monthly GST and Business Activity Statement reconciliations
  • Assistance with pre-year end activities related to Income tax and FBT including completing of supporting work papers
  • Support compliance on the SAP project
  • Documentation of processes, procedures, controls and guidelines related to finance, corporate governance and continuous improvement activities

 

About you

The successful candidate will have:

  • Strong compliance focus
  • CA or CPA qualified or close to completion;
  • 3-4 years’ experience in Chartered firm or previous experience in industry within compliance / tax / internal audit area
  • Intermediate excel skills
  • Strong communication and relationship building skills to be able to engage people at all levels 
  • High attention to detail
  • Team player
  • Self-motivated and enthusiastic approach to work
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills

About the Role

 

An exciting Sydney-based opportunity is currently available with Honda Australia, for a results orientated and passionate District Aftersales Manager to manager all aspects of the Aftersales and Customer Satisfaction activities for a portfolio of dealers to ensure sustained sales growth and maximise customer retention.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee the aftersales operations and revenues for a portfolio of dealers within the region for all aftersales products within the agreed parameters and timeframes to meet Honda’s sales revenue objectives
  • Develop dealers, track performance and implement countermeasures to ensure that CSI targets are met within agreed time frames so that CSI targets are met for the portfolio of dealers
  • Manage and oversee retention strategies and countermeasures for portfolio of dealers to meet customer retention targets during the peak replacement period to ensure Honda customers are brand loyal therefore maximizing repeat purchases of Honda products and services
  • Manage and oversee marketing for all Aftersales products and services within a portfolio of Honda dealerships, on time and within budget and in order to support sales so that Honda’s quality and value for money proposition is communicated and sales are maximized at every opportunity
  • Work with dealers to manage their Aftersales operations to meet or exceed Best Practice in the agreed time frames so the Dealership Aftersales operations are within Honda’s upper and lower control limits. Areas include but are not limited to Parts operations, SSM, SST, Technical Training and Warranty/Recall activity.
  • Work with dealers to manage the customer service transaction and ensure that all customer issues/concerns are managed through to a satisfactory conclusion both morally and legally within agreed time frames so that compliant ratios are kept within the control limits

 

About you

The successful candidate will have:

  • Demonstrated experience as a Business Development / Management
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to persuasively communicate and build relationships
  • Strong oral and written communication skills – with an eye for detail and an understanding of business and legal risk in commercial undertakings. 
  • Strong financial and analytical skills
  • Strong Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint skills
  • Strong leaderships skills
  • Customer focus and dedication to meeting the expectations and requirements of customers
  • Ideally some Aftersales experience (Service & Parts)
  • Ideally understanding of dealership operations and workings in the Australian motor vehicle market
  • Ideally Tertiary qualifications in Business or similar
