Honda Vehicles Win in Best Pre-Owned Awards in U.S.

The Honda Accord V6 and Honda Fit (the Jazz in Australia) have been named among the best pre-owned vehicles available in the U.S. at the inaugural WheelsTV POV Awards.
The seventh-generation Honda Accord V6 (2003 to 2007) and first-generation Honda Fit topped their class in the Pre-owned Family Sedan of the Year and Pre-owned Small Car of the Year categories respectively.
WheelsTV judges noted the “outstanding reputation for dependability, reliability and overall quality” of the Honda Accord V6 and commented on the vehicle’s “rock-solid record for mechanical and structural integrity, above-average fuel economy and low maintenance costs”.
According to the judges, the Honda Fit “hits the bullseye in the small car market category” thanks to its high standards of dependability and quality.
Both the Accord V6 and Fit performed well in previous WheelsTV testing. The Accord V6 consistently rated at or near the top on dependability while the Fit achieved high marks in customer satisfaction and safety.
The WheelsTV POV of the Year Awards are the first awards to present to pre-owned vehicles that best exemplify enduring reliability, performance, comfort, safety and quality. Awards are presented across five market segments: Family Sedans, SUV’s, Hybrids, Small Cars and Sporty Cars.
Winners are determined through independent testing, consumer feedback and behind-the-wheel evaluations by the WheelsTV panel of judges, comprising the network’s writers, editors and analysts.
