With fuel prices escalating the big seller was the Civic with 2,644 units sold.

This figure included an all-time record month for Australia’s most-affordable Hybrid; the Civic Hybrid with 164 units.

Honda Australia Managing Director & CEO Mr. Yasuhide Mizuno was delighted with the strong result.

“This was a wonderful result for Honda and I am especially pleased with the very strong sales of the Civic Hybrid. With the launch of the second-generation Accord Euro and the immanent arrival of the all-new Jazz, we are looking forward to a strong second half of 2008.”
