CR-V

Engineering

Offering the best balance of size and performance, equally at home on a mountain road or city street.

2.4 litre i-VTEC engine

The CR-V's formidable 2.4 litre engine employs i-VTEC technology, delivering outstanding performance at the exact moment you need it. It produces an impressive
125 kW of power and 218 Nm of torque.

Real Time 4WD™

In normal driving conditions, only front-wheel drive is used. If you hit a surface which causes wheel slippage, the system automatically engages the rear wheels to help regain traction, quickly and seamlessly.

Transmission

Choose between a standard 6-speed manual or an optional 5-speed automatic transmission with Grade Logic Control. The gear lever has been mounted high on the dash, ensuring it falls easily to hand.

Drive-by-wire throttle

The CR-V features an advanced drive-by-wire throttle system. This replaces the conventional throttle cable with an all-electronic system, enabling better communication with the transmission for a smoother drive.

Towing capability

There's enough torque and pulling power to let you confidently haul a small boat or trailer.  In fact, both the manual and automatic can tow up to 1,500kg (using a twin axle trailer with brakes).

Sedan-like handling

To achieve outstanding handling, we lowered the CR-V’s centre of gravity by 35 millimetres. Together with the 17 inch wheels and wider stance, these millimetres add up to an agility that is normally only found in sedans.

Fuel efficiency

Honda have an amazing ability to produce powerful and refined engines that minimise fuel usage, and the CR-V is no exception. The combined economy is a remarkable 10.0 litres per 100km* for manual and automatic models.
